Welcome to my portfolio! My name is Bethany, and I am an Honors graduate from Missouri Southern State University. I completed my coursework in May 2024 with a Bachelor’s in Literary Studies, a Bachelor’s in Professional and Technical Writing, and a minor in Creative Writing. (In short—it’s pretty safe to assume that I enjoy reading.)

I work as a technical writer at EaglePicher Technologies and as a piano teacher to local students. I also serve at Apostolic Revival Church as a teacher, keyboardist, and vocalist. Besides being a lifelong learner, I enjoy working in areas where I can translate information into different formats to help groups achieve their goals and grow stronger together in the process. There’s an African proverb I strive to follow when working with any team: “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”
What’s next?
- Take some time to work, build more life skills, and connect even more with my community by traveling around and studying languages.
- Write more of my own poetry, fiction, and Biblical studies.
- Begin pursuing a Master’s in Theology first, then a Master’s in Classical Literature.
